Seize the Birthday - Splatter

A card for STB using Splatters
I really have a tough time with splatters.  And I have tried using many different methods.  This one is using Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine spray.  Even this one is  second try, but was happy how this one turned out
The stamp set is WPlus 9 Modern Anemones another birthday gift from my BFF, (she really spoiled me this year)  I used my Ziggs to watercolor.  Then used Nuvo Jewel & Crystal Drops.

Our "Topping" option this time around is...
"Splatter"

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. A lovely card. The flowers are very pretty along with the gold splatters. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday.

  2. I can relate to your struggles with creating splatters. Mine always come out with way too much. This card is just perfect and the bunch of flowers stand off nicely against the splatters. Beautifully done Lin!

  4. You should be happy, Lin! Your card turned out to be exquisite! I have trouble with the splatters, too, and, of course, it goes on last so it's terrifying! I need Hammy to think ahead about whether a card is going to be splattered and see if it can be splattered first! It would save a lot of time and trouble, lol, but he doesn't usually think that smartly!! Hugs, Darnell

  5. Splattering can be somewhat tricky! The only success I have is with a small paint brush. This did come out perfect Linda and you should be pleased! I think what I like best, is the way it's bold in the corner and then gets lighter down the card! Wonderful job! Thanks so much for being in our gallery at Seize the Birthday...we sure do appreciate it!
