CAS Mix Up - February 2017 - Lots of SNOW

Finally got a chance to play in this month's CAS Mix Up

I used Design Objectives embossing folder on BG,  a piece of Inka gold from my stash for the circle.
PTI's Beautiful Butterflies on Corrugated cardboard with some Inka gold  on it.
Keep It Simple Thinking of you.  Three sequins.

AND LOTS OF SNOW
It's been quite awhile since we have had snow like this.  It was so gorgeous.  In fact in the last 4 years, since I retired, there has basically been none.  I thought once I am retired, it can snow all it wants.  Well we finally got our wish.  It is really wet and heavy.  Got 8-10".  This was yesterday and today it is still in the yards and in our long driveway.  The main roads have been plowed and are basically wet, were a little icy this morning.  It is supposed to warm up and it will all be gone in a couple of days.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Your butterfly is so sweet, Linda, and I love how he's perched on the Inka Gold circle! What a beautiful view! That's a nice snow and if it goes away quick it's just perfect. I was hoping we'd get some this winter but so far not much. Now it's looking like spring. Maybe next year! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

  2. Love your gold corrugated butterfly! Your Inka Gold circle makes a great backdrop for it. I'm up in Vancouver, Canada and we have an abnormal amount of snow too. It's been quite a crazy winter and I've been very glad I'm retired and don't have to deal with it to get to work. Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up.

  3. I love the inka gold background ... really beautiful. And the corrugated butterfly is so pretty with the gold on top. Very beatuiful and elegant card. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up Linda!

Look at all that snow!! We have been dealing with snow storm after snow storm here since last Friday and have well over a foot of snow. It's so pretty to look at. Everything is pristine white. Luckily, I'm also retired so staying home is an option and just means more time in my studio. :) xx
