Make It Monday #240 Watercolor Resist by Lexi

A very fun technique by Lexi on PTI's MIM
Watercoloring, then drizzle on some Rubber cement a couple of layers.
I wasn't so sure about my drizzling but when I die cut the butterflies, I love how then turned out.

PTI's Beautiful Butterflies, Keep It Simple Thank You.
Stenciled a light floral background with Distress Tumbled Glass

  1. WOW...you were quick on this one Lin! And your butterflies turned out amazing, and I love your background too! I have no rubber cement, but have an idea that might work...the key word being "might"! Sometimes what I see in my head doesn't always translate to paper...grrr!! But anyway, lovely, lovely card!! :0)

  2. I don't have rubber cement either, but was actually planning to go to Michael's anyway:) I will pick some up to try this fun technique. I think yours is awesome, Linda! You did two different swatches, I guess. Both color variations of your butterflies are gorgeous! I cant wait to do this one!
