Used Buttoned Up dies and stamps, Wreath for All Seasons, New little flower from Birds and Blooms,  Colors: Hibiscus Burst, Aqua Mist, Lemon Tart. 

I put some score tape on cardstock and then dye cut the Banner Border and then added the glitter from Martha Stewart that I had.

I embossed a Cuttlebug folder and then used a brayer with Aqua Mist ink on it.  The pinwheel is with Aqua Mist and Raspberry Fizz patterned paper.  The sentiment is from Happy for You.

Kathy B's Birthday Card - 2

I made another card for Kathy's birthday.  I just wasn't all that thrilled with the first one.

PTI Watercolor

Ok, I was ready to start making cards for PTI's watercolor challenge and just found out I had to make a birthday card and 5 Valentine tags to decorate some glassine bags to bring to a birthday party on Thursday.  Somehow I didn't get the email that it was planned for Thursday.

  So, in a panick I completed my task for the day and was then able to make a card for the challenge.

I finally finished my card.  I used Fancy Folkart (for the first time) by white embossing it and then colored in with water color pencils and used an aqua brush to water color them.  I was quite pleased with how it came out.  So soft and springy.  Sorry the picture isn't better.  The banner is from Stitched Sentiments.

PTI Color Inspiration #6

My last color card for today.  I used Wishing You Stamp set and Framed for the rectangle.  Haven't used this stamp set very much, but trying to use some of my older stamps.  A little Stickles glitter on the dragon fly,  3 small pearls.

This is using Color #5.  Used Mega Vases and the sentiment is from Willow.  I re-learned how to mask in the Clean and Simple Class #2 that I just took the past two weeks and used it on this card.

My first card using Color No. 1.  Love these soft colors.  The only PTI color I don't have is Sweet Blush so used Memento's Angel Pink.  Stamp sets are Beautiful Butterflies, and Funky Florals.

I used some bling on the butterflies and a little Stickles glitter on the centers of the flowers.

PTI - Sketch #3 Challenge

I have been so busy with a CAS on-line class with Jennifer McGuire that I have not had time to enter any of PTI's February festivities.  So, this is my first post using sketch #3 as my first card.  

Stamp set is Background Basics Super Stripes, in Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores and Harvest Gold.  The sentiment is a Fiskars sentiment set and the flower that I received as Valentine gifts this past week both from my Secret Sister.  I was pretty proud of myself for figuring out how to make these come to a point, cause my first couple of attempts did not work and I am not good at seeing things in my head..  I ended up masking each side and what do you know it worked.  Yahoo...

CAS Class Day 10 Using one stamp set several different ways -Jennifer

This is my card usine Jennifer' technique.  I used (all PTI) Signature Series Flower as the center piece embossed in white.  The little flowers are from Tag It's #9  I scored lines on the bottom and right side of card.  Now on to the next card....
