Well, I must say that this certainly was a challenge. After I made several attemps this is finally the end product. Not my favorite. Don't think I will be making any more shaker cards anytime soon. I versamarked a leafy background on the green paper. Used my Mat Stack #1 for the shaker part with limitless circle for the cutout. Used the appreciation stamp that I received from PTI for the sentiment and had the flower already made.

CLEAN & SIMPLE CARDS - DAY 9 & 10 FRIDAY NIGHT STAMPING
I made this CAS card with just the bottom line stamped, but felt it had too much open space on the top and decided to add the other stamping and actually kind of like it. This is a little more modern than I usually do. I was surprised how even I got it by just eyeballing.
This was the second card I made Friday night, with the butterfly die cut out and then placing the piece of DP paper behind it. I like it but thought a smaller butterfly and smallerd strip at bottom might look better.
So today, Saturday I first went grocery shopping and then went to my grandson's basketball game which they won. It is amazing how they get a little bit better each year they play. Anyway, after the game I had a few minutes to come to my craft studio and made this card with the smaller butterfly and smaller strip of paper. I love how this one turned out. I may make a set of these for my friend at work who will be having a birthday in February.
Then this is how the first card was supposed to turn out. I think making this a little higher on the card makes it so there is not so much white space on top. I really like the CAS cards if done correctly. I think I learned a lot from the class to finally make them successfully.

CLEAN AND SIMPLE CARD CLASS
These are the rest of the cards that I made from the CAS card class using the techniques they showed. I enjoyed the class very much. I was not able to post these in the gallery because we lost power and I had no internet for about 4 days.

Make It Monday #49: Ghost Masking
I was excited to try this technique but really struggled with it. This was the third attempt and still not really pleased with it. I used the Sending You Stamp set and Fillable Frame #10. Did not have the frame type that Betsy used.
Day 6 – Simple Embellishments with Kristina -2
This is the next card I made using the Wishing You set from PTI. This is similar to the card that Maile Belles created.
Day 6 – Simple Embellishments with Kristina
This is the first card I made using the idea from Kristina. Not sure I like the colors I picked and I had the toughest time doing the twine.

Day 5 – Techniques Made Simple with Jennifer
Day 5 of the Clean & Simple class. Using different techniques. This is misting Distress or I used Memento Ink with water and Perfect Pearls. I just used water. I really struggled with this technique. Made several attempts, but I was not pleased with any of them. I came up with this after viewing the Gallery and looking at some of the cards posted. Not sure if I will use this method again.....
Day 4 – 1 Stamp, 3 Ways with Kristina - 2
These two cards are from Day 4 - Using one stamp in different ways. Same card but it different colors. I like these. I used Versamark for the background stamp giving it a softer look. The stamp set is Iconic Images from PTI.
Day 4 – 1 Stamp, 3 Ways with Kristina
This is Day 4 of the Clean & Simple class. Different ways to use the same stamp. The tag is a background stamp that I stamped and then die cut the tag. The stamp set is Stitches and Swirls from PTI.

Day 1 – Simple Sketches
Day 1 Simple Sketches was not so simple for me. Took me quite a while to create this. Not real pleased with it. It even took me 2 to 3 tries, the masked part was too small at first, then tried another background and it didn't work.

Make It Monday #47: 2011 A la Carte Participants - 2
This card is using the Sentiments as the main focal point. I used various Thank you's from PTI stamp sets and the flower is a Christmas present from my dear friend, Col which I colored with Prism pencils and then used a solution to blend to make it look like water colors.
Make It Monday #47: 2011 A la Carte Participants
This card is using the score tape and glitter technique. It is hard to see, but "With Love is embossed in between the two lines of glitter. I used Stitches & Swirls Stamp set and colored in with copics.
Brad's birthday card
This is the card I made for my son, Brad who will be 34 on January 11th. I used Masculine Motiffs stamp set. I versamarked the background.
